Hardening our children for the demands of the world, MCCWT Tutoring provides academics with an appreciation for difficulties, as they ultimately make us who we are. “Knowledge from Struggle” and “Strength from Battle” are our mantras with each intellectual endeavor.

Virtual Tutoring

In these uncertain times, we can teach our children that one thing is constant: their self. The engagement of learning new skills or refining old ones offers the child a chance to interact with growth and improvement. Purposeful practice in itself is a valuable lesson, and when it is applied to an academic task the positive outcomes are two-fold: learning a skill and learning how to learn.

At MCCWT, our tutoring is not just about “getting the right answer”, but also the processed use to discover it. Reflection along the path to learning is just as valuable to the immediate growth and future successes of young students. Having been trained in the Montessori philosophy (AMI/Montessori Institute of San Diego), Coach Price understands that the path to learning is equally important and embodies this with students. He has been teaching 9-12 year-olds for over 8 years and is trained in Montessori for 6-12. Middle and early high school tutoring is also offered, it may simply take a little more preparation on his part.

The student-centric approach is meant to empower children, build resilience and strategies, and foster a joy of the process of learning.
